Vincent “Vinny” Smith, a businessman and philanthropist, saw and was witness to the quality of life outcome offered by focal laser therapy treatment. So enamored and empowered of the possibilities, he asked one of the leaders in this medical field, how he could help. When she responded that it was more research and more patients, Vinny responded in kind. At his next appointment, he brought with him a large check to help make these wishes a reality. And in so doing, has not only helped breed more research, but offered the means to realize a posthumous dream, and relieve the financial stresses of those men who need the treatment but are unable to afford it.
